Newly often come to speak with our students about employment opportunities and projects they are working on in the Frankston, Mornington Peninsula and surrounding areas. They currently host assessments for potential positions in Aged Care, Disability and Home and Community at our offices and continue to recruit many of our students.
Meracare currently partner with NIET to offer our onsite Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) model in the Carrum Downs/Frankston area! Meracare are proud to be using this model to recruit for potential future PCA’s! We are now into a 3rd year of partnering and many of our students have gone on to work at both their Carrum Downs and Frankston facilities.
Focus Individualised Support Services and NIET have been partnering for the last five years to provide our CIV Disability students with their practical placement experience. NIET and FOCUS have worked on many projects together, and continue to work as a team to provide an overall great training experience.
Station House Years Learning based in Cranbourne have been supporting NIET students for the last three years. Director Jade Currie and her team have partnered with NIET to offer our students the opportunity to complete placement, both the Certificate III and Diploma in Early childhood qualifications.
Opal By the Bay Aged Care and NIET have been partners for the last six years. NIET currently run the Certificate III in Individual Support, CIV Ageing Support and CIV in Leisure & Health onsite for the public at their facility based in Mount Martha VIC. Opal By the Bay have supported many of our students and have since gone on to become employed PCA’s with their organisation.
Meet Carol Campbell
After identifying the need on the Mornington Peninsula for a training organisation who would make learning a welcoming experience, provide exemplary customer service across the board and give participants the confidence and self-belief to succeed, Carol Campbell was inspired to start Nepean Industry Edge Training in 2009.
Carol and the NIET Team ( pronounced neat) believe in creating a training experience and are committed to supporting the culture of the business, which is to Engage, Inspire, and Motivate.
A broad range of experience in training and development for corporates and family businesses means she knows what it takes to thrive in the workplace. Coupled with qualifications in Diploma Training & Assessment, Business Management, Genos Emotional Intelligence Instrument, Frontline Management, and Marriage Celebrancy!
She has enjoyed working with clients including Sensis/Telstra, Mt Eliza Business School, Australian Retail Association, Mornington Peninsula Shire, Australian Visual Solutions , Nepean Waste, Berkowitz Furniture, NAB as well as many other local and city based organisations.
