Hospitality Courses

This qualification provides the skills and basic industry knowledge, to work in various hospitality settings, such as restaurants, hotels, motels, catering operations, clubs, cafes and coffee shops. NIET generally offers this course to school based students.

This unit provides you with the skills and knowledge required to start working in the hospitality industry. The Food Handlers session is a half day class that provides you with the practices needed to prevent contamination of food and how to follow standard hygiene procedures.

The Food Supervisors workshop gives you the skills and knowledge to confidently handle food safety during storage, preparation, display, service and disposal. This course requires students to have SITXFSA001 Use hygienic practices for food safety, as this training is designed for individuals who lead a safe working environment and oversee their organisation’s food safety program.

Whether you want to work in a restaurant, casino, licenced café or bar and serve alcohol, you must have the RSA certificate.
